Terms & Conditions

1. What MetalBooking is
MetalBooking ("we", "the platform") connects bands with venues that have open booking slots, and lets fans ("metalheads") follow the scene. We provide the tools — profiles, calendars, booking requests, notifications. We are not a party to any agreement between a band and a venue: dates, payment, equipment, and everything else about a show are agreed directly between them.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the platform. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and you are responsible for activity on your account. One account represents one band, one venue, or one fan. Accounts that enter unverified information (for example a custom city) may be held for manual review before going live. You must be at least 16 years old.
3. Bookings
A booking request expresses a band's interest in playing a venue on a given night; a confirmation by the venue reserves a spot. Either side may cancel through the platform. We do not guarantee that a confirmed booking will take place, that a venue will pay, or that a band will show up — those obligations sit with the parties involved. Be excellent to each other.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload (band photos, logos, tech riders, descriptions). By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content on the platform so the service can work. Don't upload content you don't have rights to, or content that is unlawful, hateful, or misleading. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Acceptable use
No spam, no scraping, no impersonating other bands or venues, no attempts to break or overload the platform, no using the platform for anything illegal. Automated access other than normal browser use requires our written permission.
6. Availability & changes
The platform is provided "as is", free of charge at this time. We work hard to keep it running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, be added, or be removed. If we ever introduce paid tiers, the free core — finding and requesting shows — is intended to remain.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, cancelled shows, disputes between bands and venues, or loss of data beyond what we can reasonably control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licence for past bookings, liability, governing law) survive termination.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. For significant changes we will notify you in-app. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania; EU consumer protection rules apply where relevant. Questions about these terms? Reach us through the contact form.
